Your energy is limited dude !

We are not robots, we are humans, who have limited energy to use in one day. This energy is your resource for activities and work.

📌 Your state of energy influences your performance

Maybe you’ve realized, there are certain times when your performance is on the top, the freshest, there are also times when you feel less energy, you feel more tired than other times.

If so, well congratulations it means you’ve found your energy zone. Believe it or not, everyone has their own energy zone.

There are those who are more fresh at night, more enthusiastic. They called Night Owls. There are those who are fresher in the morning, more enthusiastic. They called Early Birds.

Knowing when your energy zone is crucial and will affect your productivity. When the zone is full of energy, you can do activities that require heavy thinking or work, when you are low on energy, you can give light ones or it can also be refreshing.

📌 Social media & notification absorbs your energy too

So, this is one of the misconceptions. You think when you check social media, the notification doesn’t affect your energy or even you think it adds to your energy. It could be, but if you keep do it clearly it will actually waste your time and energy.

Imagine every 5 minutes checking your cellphone, your work is not working properly, you’re also run out of energy to check notifications. The result? You run out of energy for non-essential things, it’s a waste of time.

Don’t be surprised if people who are really productive have slow responses, it’s not that they don’t respect other people, but they know that it will waste their time and energy. So please don’t have negative thinking for them.

📌 Surprisingly, exercises can fulfill your energy

Another misconception, many people think that if they want to recharge their energy, what they have to do is either they do refreshing or they sleep, that’s all. But, the fact is sports that seem to waste energy can actually fill your energy.

How come ? Because exercise if done in moderation can turn your mood around and reset your mind. So if you are stressed and tired after work, exercise can fill your energy again. Don’t believe yet? Try it by yourself.

So, with limited energy that we have, energy management is important to ensure that your day can be maximized. It seems trivial, but try to be more aware of this. You’ll be surprised how much this will affects your overall productivity and daily output !
